We are pleased to launch the start of this new Dementia plus network – Sustainable Prevention, Innovation and Involvement for Dementia
SPIN Dementia Network Plus is a newly established network with the aim of reducing dementia risk and improve people’s experience of living with dementia by supporting new projects and engaging with communities, with hubs in all 4 nations.
The network is part of a strategic investment by the ESRC, NIHR and Alzheimer’s Society. The network has brought together applicants from 14 universities, individuals living with dementia and specialist dementia community support organisations. The network is keen to expand and will be offering ways in which to get involved in the network’s research and activities.
The launch event will give an overview of the network, including ways in which research can be supported through the flexible funding routes, and how communities and individuals can get involved with the events and activities of the network.
