Interactive Session for Early and Mid Career Researchers: Exploring Aligned Interests between SPIN-D and INTERDEM Academy.

As part of the collaboration between INTERDEM and SPIN-D Network+, both organisations will jointly host an interactive online meeting on Thursday, 13th November 2025 and a further in-person meeting planned in January 2026.

The background of this meeting is to:

  • highlight funding opportunities which could be suitable for attendees to consider, including the SPIN-D upcoming flexible funding call (round 2)
  • explore synergies between SPIN-D and INTERDEM,
  • allow attendees to have the opportunity to share details of their current research projects where it aligns with dementia prevention research,

The meeting aims to:

  • explore synergies between the Sustainable Prevention, Innovation and INvolvement NETwork (SPIN-D) and INTERDEM, a pan-European network focused on training psychosocial interventions in dementia, specifically the Academy and the Taskforce on Prevention
  • allow attendees to have the opportunity to share details of their current research projects where it aligns with dementia prevention research
  • highlight funding opportunities which could be suitable for attendees’ to consider, including the SPIN-D upcoming flexible funding call (round 2)

At the meeting, representatives from both organisations will present their respective research priorities and strategic objectives in dementia prevention. The insights collected during this session will inform subsequent discussions on potential collaborative efforts between SPIN-D and INTERDEM, aiming to foster meaningful partnerships and joint initiatives.
