Spotlight on LGBTQIA+ and dementia: Exploring brain health and addressing inequities

SPIN-Dementia Network, DETERMIND, Innovations in Dementia, and Together in Dementia Everyday (tide), are facilitating an in-person day to explore connections between LGBTQIA+ and Dementia.

We will focus on brain health and addressing inequities.

We welcome people with all levels of knowledge and interests, to share perspectives and experiences and to learn. This includes researchers, funders, people with dementia and carers, coordinators, managers, and providers.

Participants will gain knowledge about research and practice gaps, lived experiences, connections, impact, and resources. There will be opportunities to build networks and collaborations, and to understand what actions can be taken.

This in-person event will take place on Wednesday, 25th Feb 2026. 10:30am to 4:30pm. Refreshments and lunch included. Accessible venue in London (tbc). Accessible format with supported attendance.
