About Chris Fox

Chris Fox is an expert in mental health and dementia research. He was a full time NHS consultant 2000-2010 and during then undertook an MD on anger in elderly mentally ill patients at UCL. In 2010 he was appointed as the first Clinical Academic Psychiatrist at Norwich Medical School and he was head of department of clinical academic medicine until 2019-2021. He has been a clinical academic at the University of Exeter since 2022 and lead the NIHR health tech research centre (HRC) in sustainable technology and is national industry lead for the HRC coordinating centre in England. He runs a memory clinic at NSFT on Norwich.
